A throughout the world unique cultural landscape is waiting for your in the triangle of the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Táranto: the Valle d’Itria, a picturesque garden landscape, enchanted both by nature and culture. Between well-tended almond and olive groves, circled by white stone walls, from time to time pretty-looking cone roofs can be spotted.

The trullis, until the 1930s still the dwellings of the poor country population, are a Monumento Nazionale today and belong to the UNESCO world cultural heritage. Nowadays they experience a revival as comfortable residences and holiday lodgings. As a matter of fact, the room climate in the houses is ideal: Due to the traditional way of construction with massive natural stone, the round houses provide shelter from the heat in the summer, in the winter they retain warmth.
