Pajara Augusto - Holiday home near Pescoluse

Pajara Augusto is located on a beautifully laid-out property lush with a splendor of Mediterranean plants and not far from the Caribbean-like beaches of Pescoluse. The holiday home for 4 persons reflects the traditional Apulian architecture of old farmhouses built of quarry stone. Strong walls and small windows were and still are a natural means of protecting the inside and the inhabitants from too much heat.

Similar to the trulli, the pajara is of circular layout, but it hasn't got the cone-shaped, pointed roof. Instead, the pajara has a kind of small roof terrace, which is accessible via the typical, narrow outdoor staircase. If you climb the roof of Pajara Augusto, you can see the sea from there.

Traditional Apulian farmhouse for holidays between sea and culture

Pajara Augusto is located in the rear section of the ca. 2,500 m², completely fenced property. Via the roofed outdoor terrace you enter the circular building into a small living area with TV.

Adjoining lie the two bedrooms (double bed each). One of the bedrooms is a pass-through room with air conditioning. The other bedroom opens onto the outdoor area. The windows are protected by fly screens.

The holiday home has got two bathrooms, one with shower/WC, hair dryer, washing machine, one with shower/WC.

The kitchen (incl. gas stove, fridge-freezer) is found in an annex next to the terrace and accessible from the outdoor area.

Relaxing among palm and olive trees 

The outdoor area of Pajara Augusto is surrounded by old olive trees, pine and palm trees, sprawling caper bushes and countless potted plants. There are loungers to take it easy on and a hammock to relax in. The outdoor shower is very convenient, for example when returning from the beach.

Given the rural location of the holiday home between Salve, Marina di Pescoluse and the long dune beaches, you should have a car or at least a Vespa at your disposal. You can park your vehicle on the property.
